The data-driven future of farming

Farm machinery revolutionised farming practices over the past 200 years. The radical changes in the 21st Century are all about the ‘smart farm revolution’, led by digital technologies and this is set to continue.

While Pairtree’s Hamish Munro thinks data-driven farming will increase productivity and efficiencies, he warns that farmers need to plan how they are going to juggle all the new data and learn how to use it in new ways to get the full benefits.
